I have this 10% theory. I think exercising inspires and motivates us and we get a "high" to push forward with great aspirations to doing more. Sometimes I think my workout will be double intense the next day, and maybe it is. But it usually falls back down to water level a day or so later. But the 'good feeling' high is still working so you still keep improving in areas you feel you need to. But I think on the average, or "medium" or "mean" or whatever mathmatical term it is, we move forward about 1%-10% at a time. Trainers will tell us to up our workout only 10% a week. And I think the high makes us feel like we can do more. But if you accept the 10% theory, I think its more accurate and still a positive move in the right direction. So don't overwhelm yourself, or expect too much, "just keep moving, just keep moving" as "Dorie" says in "Finding Nemo" and you will find that a 10% improvement in your life each week will really add up by the year end. And keeep a record too! Love you!Nikki Jensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02891622092506623139noreply@blogger.com
